Where do I start? The lovely hospitality provided was beyond what we expected. The couple that run it are very friendly and easy to chat with. It is a home away from home with the beautiful and clean room set-up. The access to DVDs and books was excellent and exactly what we needed for a cosy night in during the heavy snow storms. The breakfasts were outstanding and the owners were always willing to assist with directions, suggestions and anything else we may have liked in the way of an extra biscuit or two with a cuppa. The use of the free internet was also very convenient, particularly because our mobile phones weren't working and we needed to contact relatives. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would gladly return one day soon.

    Superb

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Exhibit A: they let us leave our bike boxes at the premises over the weekend even though we were only staying on Sunday night. Exhibit B: when we returned after midnight on the Sunday from our event, tired and exhausted, we found a round of sandwiches left in our room.

After driving 6 hours around the moutains, this hotel was a nice place to relax before making our onward journey the next day.

The cleanliness and comfort of the Dunhallin was great. Margaret was very welcoming and attentive. She couldn't have done more for us. She had a real connection with her guests. The breakfasts were first class too! Thanks.

Just one minor point - the flat screen TV is difficult to watch due to the height it is fixed at. It would be better either lowered or on a tilting bracket so that the screen colour isn't distorted when you lie in bed watching it. ( It can really only be watched from the bed.)

Very friendly hosts, room was large, modern and very comfortable, breakfast was great.

About 2-3km from central town, possibly a bit far if you don't have a car.

    Superb

The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. She made us feel very much at home and as there was nothing we couldn't request. The breakfast was also excellent.

Maybe use an extractor fan in the kitchen... the air was a little smoky when we came down to breakfast.
